I just watched a show on cable called DLife. It's about diabetes.
One segment had a few little kids with T1 talking about their
condition. They were about 9-11 years old and just the cutest little
kids you could imagine.
Halfway though the piece my wife asked me if I was Ok. It was then I
realized I had tears running down my face.
****. A bad-assed kid from the gritty neighborhoods of Philly. I've
been through a heart attack, bad kidney stones, a T2 diagnosis and
other crap I'd prefer not to get into and I was crying like a baby. I
hate this ****ing disease. I hate what it's done to my life but more
than that; I hate what T1 does to the innocent little kids.
That's all...just needed to rant a little. I'll be OK.
