I hate gastroparesis!

Now I'm not entirely sure that's my problem at the moment.  Angela managed 
to bring home more germs.  She said the teacher was sick with a cold and
her 
friend might have strep.  There is also a stomach thing going around which

we already seemed to have gotten, but maybe we're not over it?

I felt fine prior to dinner except that I was overly sleepy this afternoon

and oddly more thirsty than usual.  BG was slightly high at 147 but that's
a 
really good number for me!  I am still in the 200's much of the time even 
though I am up to 80 units of lantus at bedtime.

I made soup in the crockpot.  No different than usual except I didn't add 
the kidney beans (Angela now doesn't like them in soup) and I added some 
fresh Italian parsley (because it came in my box) rather than the dried 
parsley I usually use.  I used organic ground beef, a few red potatoes, 
carrots and celery, V-8 juice, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. 
Normally 
these vegetables and the ground beef are things I can digest.  I used to
add 
green beans or maybe corn to this as well, but Angela balked about these 
things in there too.

I tried to eat a bowl of the soup.  It just tasted off to me.  I'm not
sure 
why.  Maybe it was the parsley.  I just couldn't bring myself to eat more 
than a few bites.  I didn't even like the broth.  I then ate a few pecans 
and some Newman's Organics high protein pretzels and dumped my bowl of
soup 
out.  Angela didn't much care for the soup either.  I would have thrown
the 
rest away, but husband said he liked it, so I saved a quart of it in a 
canning jar and threw the rest out.

Now I can feel the food sitting in my stomach like a lead weight.  It's
like 
it's not going anywhere.  Stomach HURTS!  Aargh!  Usually I don't get pain

with the gastroparesis, so maybe it's not that?  This is actual pain and a

feeling like my dinner is going to come back up.  :(
