The experience in the 3 schools my kids have been to locally is that
the T1 kids have been looked after really well. I've been particularly
impressed with the way the local high school have handled a 14yo T1
mate of my youngest's, who started to do a bit of over-injecting of
insulin and under-eating; it got picked up very quickly, sorted out,
and we're now back to a young lady with a good self-image, active in
s****t, and maturing beautifully.
