My "One Touch Meter" test-off

by "anon aka" <anon_aka@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aug 25, 2008 at 05:47 PM

I ordered a free One Touch Ultra 2 meter from their web site last week. It
came today, it included the whole kit, 10 strips, control solution,
diabetes
DVD etc.

This made 4 One Touch Ultra meters for me. I have a One Touch Ultra (5+
years old), a One Touch UltraSmart (2+years old), a One Touch Mini (1 year

old), and now the One Touch2 (new). I lined them all up and with the same
vial of strips did the control solution test on them. The results were:

One Touch Ultra = 125
One Touch UltraSmart = 125
One Touch Ultra Mini = 126
One Touch Ultra2 = 118
The control was 103 - 137 on the vial of strips.

Now I'm wondering if the 3 older meters were correct or if they made
impovements that made the new One Touch Ultra2 more correct.
