Thank you 'anon'. However, by chance, I actually had one of these episodes
while I was at the hospital for one of my regular appointments. My
specialist examined me but couldn't find anything and did not mention that
it could be caused by Crohns. I had blood tests at the time as well -
even
for malaria which I've had before.
Neeta - did your doctor provide any references? I've had my
father-in-law,
who is a doctor, search the literature and he could only find one
reference
to this phenomenon in relation to a person with UC. So I'm wondering just
how well known and do***ented it is.
