Re: Choice of hospital impacts outcomes for inflammatory bowel disease surgery

Good outcomes of surgery reducing IBD do not always or even nearly alwlays
depend on the doctor or hospital. The variances are so great, nothng can

be said with certainty, the patient's condition, present and ongoing are a

distinct factor. Until the cause is noted and used as a mind relaxer
(along with Valium) and the patient has some idea to work with as to what
is
causing the illness, then the physician and hospital play a larger role.
This is the strangest illness to understand, but I have now noted that
when
no other cause or explanation can be found for an attack debilitating the
gut or balance of body, including the heart, eyes, ears, feet, ALL PARTS
OF
THE BODY, consider crohns or Ulcerative Colitis. They can be the cause

of death that appear to be a natural cause or one of drug taking which can

be totally erroneous. Crohns is never an organic illness, it is due to

the environment. It takes experience and astuteness to recognize the
toally unexpected cause of crohns disease. Not even the doctor will know
the cause. Actually, it is a clear cut cause but hidden to the one
experiencing crohns and UC. and also hidden to the physician and surgeon.
Chalk one up for a totally unbelievable cause of illness, yet without a
doubt the totally unbelievable cause of illness IS the cause.
