i've been taking karvezide 150/2.5 (irbesartan 150mg/
hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg)
1 tablet daily for several months now.
recently i had a problem with mucous leaking from my bum whilst i
slept, figured it might be somthing to do with crohns and was advised
to take mesalazine 500mg 3xdaily.
took 2 the first day, the next morning my blood pressure had jumped
from approx 150/70 to 200/150 within 18 hours, pharmacist checked and
advised could be allergic reaction. suggested i stop taking
mesalazine. blood pressure hasnt really subsided much in the last
week.
anyone else seen that happen?
