So are you saying before you started taking the VSL#3 you were in
remission with no symptoms? Or are you saying the VSL#3 exacerbated
already occuring symptoms?

FWIW, I've been taking VSL#3 for over a year now and I'm absolutely
thriving on it. Of course it goes without saying that just because it
works for me does not mean it will work for you. What's good for me
may very well put someone else in the hospital. For example, here's
how I take my VSL#3: I mix it in *milk* then mix in psyllium husk
powder and drink it on an empty stomach. Currently I do this once a
day, first thing in the morning. But early on I drank it 2-3 times a
day.

However, realistically, who knows whether the product caused your
flare or caused my remission? Just sharing my personal experience...
