There is no cure for Crohn's disease at this point. Dedicated researchers
using the most advanced medical facilities and refined medical hypotheses
have not been able to pinpoint the exact etiology of the disease, much
less
find a cure. There is certainly no possibility of finding a cure by
comparing notes on a newsgroup. Your sharing of dietary tips might be
helpful to some people but not to others--people with Crohn's seem to
react
differently to different kinds of foods and dietary regimens--what helps
one
person hurts another, etc. There is no universal formula for relief,
dietary
or medicinal, and no cure.
If you want to share tips that have made you feel better, that's fine.
But keep in mind that those tips might work for you but not for others.
You
will assuredly not find a cure on a newsgroup. A group like this is most
useful for sharing information about recent advances in research and what
kinds of regimens have been helpful to some people. It is not helpful for
presuming to dispense any kind of medical or therapeutic device or any
information about drug interactions--that kind of information should be
obtained only from a qualified physician or pharmacologist.
Please keep those rational considerations in mind in deciding what--and
how much--to post to this group. Thanks!
