I speak to my doctor weekly. He doesn't charge my insurance for this,
and adjusts my medication accordingly. When I informed him how
nauseous the Imuran was making me feel, he said "Oh no, that isn't
good." He was sympathetic but asked my to try Mylanta for a week.
The following week I told him the Imuran was really making me ill, and
he told me to discontinue it. I asked him if he wanted to try one of
the other meds, and he said if the Imuran is making me so nauseous,
the other immune suppressants probably would too. I asked him if he
wanted me on Colozial or Asacol, and he replied he wanted to wait to
see how I do on the prednisone. I'll talk to him again this
Wednesday. Nora
