I agree with you. Since I got rid of my television over 12 years ago I
have
not had a flare up of Crohn's and I have been IBD medication free.

I can also remember there being an awful lot of American sitcoms on the
telly. We might have found the missing link. We just need half of the
newsgroup readers to get rid of their televisions and then we can do the
first controlled clinical study on the effects of the television on IBD
and
other disorders.

America or Canada.  I blame American TV programmes myself - we had
none of these transatlantic illnesses before we in the UK started
im****ting US sitcoms.  There's a programme - so I'm told, I don't
have a television - called 'The Simpsons', wherein the
characters have yellow skin, and which is watched by, among others,
pregnant women.  Is it just coincidence that babies are born with
jaundice?  I think not.  I rest my case.
