Uh, further down you say they require you to purchase the product. That
is
"Inventory". Unless you are purchasing it solely for yourself, in which
case
you aren't a salesman/employee, you are a customer.

Thank You. So, one does move up a ladder then. You are NOT selling
anything
yet you get a paycheck. Why? because you have salesmen under you. So you
are,
essentially, acting as a distributor or a manager. You are making money
off
the salesmen below you... they do the work, you make the money.

Yeah, that means that the USANA top guys not only get a percentage of your
sales, but they get income from your being required to buy the product. I
understand that in Canada you might be able to write off the stuff you
buy, but
in the US it would have to be counted as inventory and you would have to
show
income from its sale, or fill out tons more paperwork showing a carryover.
 If
you used it yourself you would have to show a "sale" to yourself, counting
that
sale as taxable income. Plus you may have to pay a tax on any of the
inventory
on hand at the end of the year. You might be able to write off a little
as
samples or something, but someone in your situation who doesn't sell
couldn't
write the entire inventory off as samples. It would raise a lot of red
flags.

>They did there homework and its very easy to see why
>it's been the number one plan all these years.

It is only number one in MLM schemes. Have not seen it listed in any of
the
other business magazines. So while in the MLM world it may be a good
plan, in
the world of business it isn't worth much of a mention.
-
Funny though, if USANA is the number one plan, why do some other MLM plans
claim they are number one?
