Crohns Increasing Prevalence

I would like to hear some opinions as to the  possible causes of the
ever increasing prevalence of Crohns Disease especially in children.
Also can someone explain to me the rational for taking antibiotics and
steroids for this condition and can anyone re****t having been cured of
this ailment by by the so called "recognised treatment" of modern
Western type medicine for both Crohns and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Karl
