Monosodium Glutamate

I was recently diagnosed in April and have been doing pretty well so
far...just a few set backs.  Does Monosodium Glutatmate contain
Gluten?  I researched it and thought that it did have Gluten. Someone
with CD told me I can have Cheetos, but they have Monosodium
Glutamate!  I'm not sure what to think.  Some of the companies I have
contacted have been wrong, so I am trying to figure it out for myself-
without getting too sick!
Any knowledge from wise veterans would be much appreciated!
