Does anybody here (with CD) also have autoimmune hepatitis (AIH)? I
ask as I am someone with AIH and there is a high prevalence of CD with
AIH. My father has CD and so I am at a much greater risk especially as
I also have AIH.
I find that if I follow a GFD I have much better gastro symptoms
although I have been tested for CD and my antibody tests were normal.
However, I am on immunosuppressants for AIH and so my guess is that
any possible CD antibodies are being lowered by the drug. I am just
wondering if anyone else might be in a similar situation.
