BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
It is estimated that since 1962,
between one and two million women have had
silicone breast implants. Some 30+ years
later, thousands of women are second
guessing the wisdom of this choice, because
they now apparently suffer with a
new illness, silicone toxicity and
immune dysfunction syndrome.
Some researchers would like to link this
silicone disaster with old diseases
of the autoimmune type like scleroderma,
rheumatoid arthritis, and Lupus. Some
believe it is a brand new disease altogether.
From silicone being in the body some also
believe that there is molecular damage
called free radical or oxidant injury that occurs.
This causes another set of symptoms that seem to
be part of the syndrome.

Before you get breast implants, you should check

Do you know that:
FDA has never approved breast implants?
Many health insurance companies refuse coverage to
someone who has had breast implants?

Most implant warranties do not cover capsular
contraction . . . the most common complication?
Breast implants reduce the possibility of nursing
a child?

after "dropping". The PS will then suggest a
LIFT. Another 4-5 grand.

past, hundreds of thousands of women were too
embarrassed to tell anyone how they really felt
about their "new" breasts.
No one can get a true picture from reading a
commercial site for the purpose of selling breast
implants.

woman every five years until she is 70?
Conservative estimate: $55,000 barring no
complications, revisions or infection expenses and
not allowing for inflation!
