av nodal re-entry tachycardia

by "Jan White" <ayac00@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aug 26, 2007 at 02:07 PM

Two years ago when I was in Hamp****re I was told this what I had, however
we
moved before the tests were finalised and now we live in Lincoln****re I
have
had to start all the proceedure again because the Hamp****re hospital had
no
record of anything wrong.
I have had two tapes done, one for a week, nothing happened and one for 7
hours when I had two night attacks of re-entry rapid pulse. These used to

last for up to 6 hours but now Sotalol keeps it to only an hour or so. It

is all very scary and I fear one day it will develop into a full heart
attack.
I am waiting to see what cardiology make of the last two attacks but am
worried they will dismiss me as happened before. I am 80% sure I need an
ablation to seal the offending valve but no one is listening to me. Can
anyone help with info.
Thanks,
Jan
