about 3 weeks ago I had major chest pain and ended up in the emergency room
wired for sound.
At teh time they thought my EKG was ok and figured it was muscular in
nature and may even be a tearing of some cartiliage in my chest. During my
visit they did a chest xray . A few days later I received a follwo up call
from teh hospital indicating thst the radologist noticed I had an enlarged
heart.
My local doctor has sent me for a stress test, another EKG, Blood work, an
Echo cardiogram abd another chest Xray.
I was feeling ok about it all until I overheard the radiographer who was
doing my echo cardiogram point out to a colleague - "ah there It is and I
thought it would be there" - prior to to that they had been discussing my
Aortia (sp?)
So now I'm concerned. The internet is a wonderful tool and a also a scary
place for doing reseacrh on teh heart. I have found the full spectrum of
possible answers and remedies.
Any have any thoughts ?
btw I see my doc again in a few days to discuss the results
