BLOOD TEST The results were sky high, and when repeated same thing

BLOOD TEST:    B.N.P.
Results were near 1,500, (sh0uld be about 100) which was taken again this 
time reading  is nearly the same.

I have dilated cardiomyopathy with 13% ejejtion.

Doctor looked concerned, which is out of charachter for him. He is a real 
nice guy, but I never seen him look so rattled, ie:it is what he didn't
say 
that bothers me.

Anyone here that can enlighted me, it is appreciated
