Many people have sent me messages via e-mail regarding this newsgroup
(and telephone..thanks!). Until this point I had not been aware of
the discussion.
I am quite appalled at what I have seen from Ray. I would also like
to clear up a bit of the confusion.
I have never hypnotized Ray Gordon. (I only wish that I were half as
good as he claims). I did have a short conversation with Ray
regarding induction techniques that I am familiar with. I am not a
very experienced hypnotist, nor have I ever claimed to be. Our
conversation ended when I realized that Ray had some serious
psychological problems.
At this point Ray became quite a nuisance to say the least. He
demanded that I call him every night and try a different technique to
cure his insomnia. Of course, that is out of the question. It takes
most of the night just to get my son to sleep. The next day after our
conversation, Ray left at least 20 messages on my answering machine.
Most of them sounded desperate and hysterical. This sort of behavior
is well beyond my knowledge. I suggested that he receive professional
help once again. I wished him the best of luck.
Had I known what turmoil that advice would cause, I would have called
him every night for a year!
I did say that I would make him a tape. Of course, he did say that he
would harm my child if I did not make the tape. I promised a tape,
then I called the police. I have also contacted AOL.
Since that time I have received so many threats from Ray Gordon that I
have had to move, change my telephone number and live in constant
fear! He sends im's continously when I am online. He e-mails me
every day. He has called my home so many times that I have changed
the number two times.
This has been going on for almost six months and it has got to end! I
can't live in fear any longer. He is destroying both my personal and
professional life.
I am sure that most of you realize that Ray is very capable of this
behavior, I'm not so sure that any of you know how dangerous he really
is. Please take this warning seriously. If he sends you a message,
save it. I have over 100 threatening messages from Ray and I am hoping
that these messages will get him off of AOL permanently.

So, twelve years since Gordon first started his train wreck on usenet,
and he's still at it. I wonder how his insomnia is doing these days? I
wonder if he's still obsessed with Tabitha?
