The most telling points must be that even if it is assumed that Erickson
was
a skilled perceptive inventive therapist, (as NLP'ers assume and promote)
and despite the fact that he used many other CBT/Socratic questioning
techniques (which don't fit with their theories), his indirect
(conversational) hypnosis seems to have been less effective than when he
used direct hypnosis techniques.
As a lawyer I require an evidence based therapy.
