Actually, that would depend on the program - if it's tax-deferred,
then yes, on paper, you will be a millionaire. You will also be dead,
of course. And the estate will still owe taxes on the profits earned
over the course of the investment. If the investment is not tax-
deferred, it will take something like 225 years, as a rough estimate,
to make the goal due to the tax hits in the last years eating away at
he profit margin. Now factor in inflation... tax increases, estate
tax hits and the term for actualization of net profit of one million
dollars goes out even further...
Bottom line, you will still be dead - which was your original point,
of course... and funny as well.
