The Register for Evidence-Based Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy
Just another reminder that the new Register for Evidence-Based
Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy is now well and truly up and running and
we're offering a FREE trial period for new members enrolling before
the end of August 2008. Anyone with an interest in evidence-based
approaches to therapy, who abides by the codes of ethics and practice,
can become a member. Professional accreditation is also available to
those who have completed an approved training course.
We're very proud to announce that all REBHP members will receive the
International Journal for Clinical & Experimental Hypnosis (IJCEH),
the leading research journal in the field of hypnosis. This quarterly
publication will even be available during the free trial period for
new members.
The Register have also helped to organise clinical supervision groups
for hypnotherapists in London.
We are also pleased to announce the publication of our new national
diploma award in evidence-based hypnotherapy, in collaboration with
NCFE. As far as we are aware, this is the ONLY award of its kind
available in the UK, and has been directly mapped against the National
Occupational Standards for hypnotherapy. We hope that very soon we
will be able to offer accreditation through this award route to other
training schools who base their training programmes on evidence-based
principles.
