True, Ray can be a relief from the usual but at least the Tim/Tom
nonsense is at least partially related to a therapeutic model, albeit
one that may or may not be of value, depending on which side one
listens to, but Ray's ranting about chess lawsuits and gymnastics
threats and speed seduction is much further off topic, amusing though
they may be they still add to the signal to noise ratio in here.
For my money, alt.hypnosis would be better off without BOTH the Tim/
Tom stuff and the Ray material as the first invariably devolves into
name-calling and profanity-laced vitriol and the latter is often
either so off topic as to be unrelated or simply re-posts of his
always-refuted rants about stage hypnotists and high school kids!
I've made several attempts at on topic posts in here (and fallen into
some of the other nonsense, too, I freely admit), but I am getting
heartily sick of this being "The Tim, Tom and Ray Show, No Hypnosis,
All the Time, With Vitriol to Spare for Everybody! No Insult Too
Small, No Sleight Too Outrageous, No Invective Too Extreme - All Day,
Every Day!"
Remember, I had my own radio show in Chicago for almost three years,
folks... I can play the "radio announcer's voice, complete with the
glottal push" game with the best of them, so this kind of parody is
easy.
And it's also off topic.
Let's TRY to get this group on course, shall we, people?
