Is there homophobia in my article on the Howard Appledorf murder?

I've got a story about the murder of closeted Professor Howard
Appledorf by three gay male prostitutes up at

I would like to know what readers of this newsgroup think of it. Do
you think I let any homophobia slip into the story?  What do you think
of it?
