Hi Michael,

In general, the following symptoms should be used to determine whether
or not your sick child should attend child day care:

       -- Your son has a Fever above 100 degress Fahrenheit

      -- Your son has uncontrolled coughing, difficulty breathing,
wheezing, persistent crying, or lethargy

      -- Your son has diarrhea, such as loose or runny stools, or is
vomiting

Also, any sort of rash is very good sign, you both should stay home.
It's also a good idea to consider that you wouldn't want your child
exposed to another sick child, so when in doubt, he should stay home.
He will always recover quicker if he stays home and get plenty of
rest.
