Sir or Madam,
I have been doing some reading and it seems my five-year-old daughter
comes under this category Simultaneous bilingual.
I'm English speaking and my child was born to a Spanish mother who
does not talk to our daughter in English, we also live in Spain and my
child has no other contact with the English language other than that
with myself.
I would obviously like my child to continue with this gift I have
given her, however father child contact in acrimonious divorce cases
is not always good. I have requested the Court allows two afternoons
extra per week of five hours, but there is no guarantee I will get
this time.
The usual contact period is every other weekend and half the holidays,
is this enough?
My own feeling on the matter is that this time is not enough. I'm in
Court on Tuesday so I'm emailing a lot hoping that some official body
will confirm my thoughts and enable me to provide the Court with
positive information to prevent what could be a negative Court
sentencing for my daughters bilingual future.
Please email me andy.capistrano@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
thank you in anticipation
Andy Woodward
